Google has recently announced the update on review rich results. The main goal of this update is to improve the review rich result for the users and to boycott the abusive links where the rich results trigger.
In addition to this update the “name” property becomes required.

The schema structured data related to your reviews are taken by the google and show in the form of stars in the search results.

Note: The self-serving reviews are not allowed
Self-serving reviews are termed as the reviews of oneself. Google won’t display self-serving reviews in the featured snippets.
“name” Property is now required.
One of the biggest changes to the Reviews Rich Results is that the name property in the featured snippets are now required. This made the publishers who rely on the WordPress Plugins for the review, should check if their plugin is currently including the “name” property.
Publishers can update the plugin to get this service. If the update is not available currently then the user can contact to the plugin customer care to make that update.
Note: Google did not say if any failure to have the “name” property in the structured data will loss the result of the Reviews Rich Result.
